Apologies, but real life is really starting to catch up with me. Hence nothing here for a long time. And nothing of note for even longer.

Next week is the Angels party. I think once I've done that I will be going into retirement.

As a wise movie policeman once said; "I'm too old for this shit"....

Angels 10th Birthday Party 22nd Jan 2010

In celebration of the Angels reaching the grand old age of 10 years old in January 2010 I would like to announce that we are having a little party to celebrate.

The party will take place at the Pink Punters club, Fenny Stratford (near Milton Keynes) on Friday 22nd January 2010 (Link to map).

The nearest hotel is the much-loved Campanile across the road. Book early to guarantee a room, and there’s an early bird discount if you book a room more than 30 days before the event.

Low Energy Blogging - from the archives

Was a great meal and good to catch up with some people I've only ever talked to via the Angels forum.

Shame the weather was so crap outside though, I was meeting a friend after the meal and by the time we were finished she was drenched!

Well, here I am at The Place for the start of Sparkle. Quiet night last night - went out, ate, got drunk. Simples.

Val is still trying to get me to eat a rollmop... send help...

Yes, after a two year hiatus I am finally getting my arse back to Sparkle.

I'll be sharing a room at The Place with Valerie. I've warned her I'm getting old these days so nothing too outrageous please! Will be going to the Angels meal on the Saturday night but apart from that I haven't really planned out the Sparkle weekend.

Really looking forward to it - it's been 2 years since I've been out with Val - far too long.

Need to get everything packed tomorrow - then I'm heading up on Thursday.... have narrowed down what I am going to wear but you can guarantee I'll end up taking 3 tonnes of clothes with me just in case.
