Quick Sudoku

I'm not sure if you have seen these Sudoku (soduku?) puzzles that have become all the rage recently. I must admit they passed me by for a while, not being a crossword puzzle kind of person.

While waiting at the airport the other week I gave one a go, and got quite into it - I managed to do a moderate and a diffucult one and was feeling quite pleased with myself.

You basically need to fill in a 9x9 grid with numbers, so that each row only contains the numbers 1-9 once, and each 3x3 box can also only contain 1-9 once. It sounds easy, but can be quite tricky to complete.

But they do tend to take a lot of time to do, and I am quite an impatient person. So, I have devised my own version. So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen.... I would like to present for the first time: Quick Sudoko.

Answers on a postcard, or the back of a sealed envelope please....

I like the quick Sudoko (I can't spell it either!) Just about my level I get bored too easily to put the effort in so well done with sticking with it.

Maybe it's just me - feel free to disagree ;) - but I like doing them... so much so it is the first thing I turn in the paper these days where once it would have been crossword or the cricket reports. As a result of what seems to be rapidly becoming an addiction, I start getting very annoyed if I don't finish it (regardless of skill level) in my lunch break. :S Time to think about founding Su 'Doku/Sudoku Anonymous maybe?

I've just bought a book of them.. going to try and start gradually. Would like to get into something like that - stop my brain turning to mush playing on the computer!

    Thank you anonymous!

Wow - looks like I've found something to rival the Dress Up Games at attracting visitors to the site... Maybe a regular Sudoku feature from now on? ;-)
