A question of readership
So its been six weeks or so since I started this blog and I must say I am quite enjoying myself. It's fun being part of the Blogsphere and it's finally given me the facility I always wanted for my Joannas Diary site, which was a regularly updated area to provide interaction with my readers.
I've been kind of wondering about exactly what content people want to see. I'm a tranny... and so the site was set up to share my tranny lifestyle with other likeminded trannies. Partly to show off, but increasingly to act as a role model for other trannies out there. That was the initial purpose of my site. But I've always been a stream-of-consciousness kind of person (as anyone who has sat through one of my training sessions will testify!!) and so I really enjoy using this blog to put down all my general thoughts. I may be a tranny.. but I am also a bloke.. and I am also just a person. I don't want to end up as a niche website, I guess.
I know I have "regular guy" readers so I hope they are not put off by the trannying content. Likewise I hope the Real Girls* who read this blog also like what they see. I hope all of you get a better insight into what it means to be a T-Girl/Tranny/Bloke in a dress etc
I suppose what I am saying is that it kind of relates back to what Siobhan was saying the other day about duality. I only have one blog - I dont want one as a boy and one as a girl.. I want to just have one as "Joanna" and share all aspects of my life here.
The stats aren't bad for early stages - 250 hits a day to the blog index page, which will do me for now. Its also interesting to note that in the last week alone I had 100 hits from people looking for Sudoku.. which must have given them quite a shock when they got here! As usual the dress up doll is pulling in over 5000 hits a week. So maybe if I do a dress-up sudoku I can really pull in the visitors!
So if you like what you see - please leave a comment or send me a mail. I love the two-way nature of blogs and would love to hear more back from you all... even if its anonymous.
Hope you continue to read :-)
*In tranny circles this is often abbeviated to RG's or GG's (Genetic Girls) I tend to prefer RG's cos the alternative sounds like a horse.

I'm even newer to this blogging malarky and I've been thinking along similar lines. How much do I involve the Steve side of me in the blog with the Selina side?
Some items are clearly the domain of Steve and some of Selina. Furthermore some overlap (desperatly want to avoid a Venn diagram a la Siobhan here).
I look at blogs that interest me. Obviously tranny blogs interest me as I like to hear of other girls' experiences, but by the same token, I love some non-tranny blogs (the recent ones regarding "Bad Wolf" were a particular favourite).
If people enjoy reading it, then keep writing it. Clearly people enjoy this site so keep doing what you're doing. And when you work out what it is, let the rest of us know.
