So I went to the beach
Just wanted to get out of the house for while, get some fresh air and stuff. So I drove up the road to Whitstable. I must admit I've lived in Kent for a few years now, and haven't really explored it as much as I should have. There are loads of places I'd love to visit, and have yet to get to.
So anyway, decided I would go to Whitstable and take my camera to try and get some nice "beachy" photos. It was a grey day so not too much chance of it being really crowded...
Noticed they'd begun building a large windfarm in the middle of the Estuary. Kinda cool. May not be everyones cup of tea, but its gotta look better than a giant coal power station in your backyard.
Took the opportunity to try and take some "arty farty" photos with my new(ish) macro lens.
I've uploaded the set of pictures to my flickr stream (I usually upload the arty ones to my boy flickr account, but thought I'd put these ones on Jo's account)
Interestingly (but not suprisingly) any tranny photos I upload get 5 hits before I've even added the keywords and sorted the groups out. These have been seen about 5 or 6 times in a day... guess there's not so much interest in these kind of pics.
I do love my macro lens though :-)

You know what it is though don't you? There's a bunch of testosterone-fuelled kids out there, who watch the FlickrStream and everytime they see a woman exclaim:
"w00t! Hot chix0r!"
How it tickles me to think that those same boys then recoil in horror when they realise we're not what they thought :)
