The Guinness Surger

St Patricks Day is fast approaching. And as we know St Patrick is the patron saint of drinking lots of Guinness. Also the Patron saint of large silly hats and pretending you have an irish ancestor.

In anticipation of this, those clever folks at Guinness have devised yet another way of making the pint you drink from the fridge taste even more like the pint you get in the pub. So they have introduced The Surger

I saw this thing in Tescos today and it took me a a while to work out what the hell it was. For 16 quid you can get a plug in ultrasonic device and two special cans of guinness. You pour the guinness into a glass.. then place it on the surger for a minute or two. The surger vibrates the Guinness and turns it into a perfect pub pint.. apparently.

In the interests of scientific research I nearly bought one. But then I realised that for £16 I can either buy a 12 pack of guiness... or two cans and this vibrating widget. No contest really...

For £16 you could probably get a Ryanair return ticket to Dublin and get yourself some real Guinness :)

Sorry. Just catching up. I'm just amused that won't even let me onto the Guinness site since I'm under 21. It's just a website. Plus all I had to do was say I was born a few years earlier and it let me right on. Go fig...
