A nutter speaks

Becky very kindly shared her latest letter from a nutter today. I must admit I haven't received one of these for a long time. I think Becky must do something to upset them, like being very normal and also a great tranny ;-)

Anyway, the teacher that I am just could not let that letter go past without getting out my red pen and correcting all the errors. At least that way the nutters can learn something from us trannies.

So here it is.

An RE teacher would probably have graded it as a B-, provided "shit-hole" was hyphenated.

OMG that was hilarious!

I agree with your notations completely. One thought though... the phrase "unfathomably ridiculous" strikes me as odd. I mean, if something was unfathomable, then how could one think about it enough to render it ridiculous?

I was debating that.

If it was a hole that was shit.. then I think no hyphen.

It is a hole for shitting... then a think maybe should be one word no hyphen?

I thought the use of shit hole was too vague, especially as it could refer to an anus (a physical must-have), a toilet (an hygenic need) or a cesspit (smelly, but useful where there is no sewerage available)

Personally, I'd dock them another mark for that. The only thing other thing they would need for an 'F' would be to write their whole email in capitals.

I would just like to explain the awful 'Baby on the Board' stickers. A radio station which I think is local to the Cambridge area has teamed up with the Kleenex people to give away a Mini soft-top car to some lucky person who can swallow their embarassment and commitment to recycling long enough to put the damn thing on theor car and drive about a bit. Having said that the information about this competition is minimal- i.e.- do you have to listen to Vibe FM to know if you win; how many Minis are being given away; when does the competition start and finish? I have just found this blog by accident while searching for 'Baby on the Board'- there is so little info- so I think the whole thing is just a demonic plot to persuade us to use virgin tree pulp to wipe our behinds. Nothing against Vibe FM but I'd rather listen to Radio 2.
