Got Spam? Tell the Frog

I've been using Mailwasher for a while now to scan all my mail accounts and filter out spam. As someone with lots of domain names - theangels, tatt4trannies, joannasdiary etc, plus just as many (if not more) associated with my male work-related activities I am regularly getting more spam than regular mail. But mailwasher gets most of it. The only time it is a pain is when I want to check email remotely via my phone/pda etc which isn't filtered.

Anyway, I got the latest upgrade for Mailwasher today which includes a plug in that reports spam directly to a new service called Blue Frog.

I hadn't heard of Blue Frog before, so I signed up and downloaded the little applet to give it a try.

The theory is that if you complain about spam to Blue Frog, they complain in bulk to the spammer and ask to be removed plus report the spammer to ISP's etc. The spammer is deluged with complaints.

No idea whether it will work, but at least by reporting it I feel like I am doing something ;)
