Bizarre Units of Measurement

We're used to newspaper articles telling us things are the "size of Wales" or how many double decker buses or football pitches it can be compared to.

In a story in the Times this week they outdid themselves with a new unit. The Hazel Blears...

In a story about a new fossilised giant penguin, they thought it would help to show how tall it was in comparison to other penguins. And then, for some reason, they stuck a Labour MP in there too for good measure!

Nothing to do with height or weight - Hazel always wears black with white undies. She is also flat footed but not flat chested according to one senior politician who had a bust up with her.
