I have always been a bit of a skeptic when it comes to Psychics and Mediums. I would personally love it to be true, that we can harness these kind of powers but sadly the field is littered with charlatans and fraudsters that use simple conjuring tricks and cold reading to fleece the gullible.

So this page on Bad Psychics had me in stitches today. Basically the premise is a new psychic on the scene called Craig Shell who has been making fraudulent claims about himself and the celebrities he has worked with, by way of ''bigging himself'' up and getting work.

Following some investigative work by some keen detectives on the Bad Psychics website, Craig is revealed as a fraud. But what is even funnier is the comments at the bottom of the page. It really is like watching a car crash as Craig pops on to defend himself, pretends to be his legal team, his manager and even starts threatening the people involved in debunking him.

Pop along to Bad Psychics and take a look. And if you ever see a psychic called Craig Shell you can tell him he's a liar, a fraud and a cheat.

Update - 23/8/08 - Craig Shell was imprisoned for fraud, and is now out. He's been pissing about in the comments area of this blog, so I have disabled further comments on this post. Craig, you are a convicted fraudster, you are not psychic and I suggest you get yourself a different career. Oh, and fuck off my blog.
