Have a break, have a Kit Kat

The Kit Kat Dolls were at Sparkle. A last minute addition to the bill in I guess an attempt to rebuild their reputation that was slightly tarnished by the News of the World revelations last weekend.

''Dontcha wish your Girlfriend cost a grand like me?
Dontcha wish your Girlfriend gave a Vat receipt?''

Like the Spice Girls they probably have nicknames. So you have Chunky KitKat, Peanut KitKat, Funsize, 2 finger and 4 Finger.

(sorry to everyone I told that joke to over the weekend, I've got it out of my system now, honest......)

    Aye.

I think the rest just give it away in exchange for Tescos Vouchers.

My name is Nat Udom and I am a member of The Kit Kat Dolls.

After the news, We were VERY sad and crying to lose the GREAT opportunity to be something that the society would have accepted us more in the positive way. It was NOT fair on the honest working band members like myself and others who had worked SO hard to get there and then our dreams shattered by JUST one member. Those 2 members ( Toni and Alex ) had told us about their past and we accepted them because we believed that if we could improve the lives of Toni and Alex to be better then we ( as the human beings) definitely would do that. I personally think that every single one of us should give the opportunity to people who are less fortunate than the ones who are lucky, don’t you think? Every single one of us should learn how to love and care to others and willing to improve lives of some people to be better with what we can.

However, We were asking the ITV producers to let the rest of us ( 6 members ) to continue the show, but they refused us. We started to cry as soon as ITV producers said that the whole band had to be punished which was VERY unfair for the rest of the group. We live in the year of 2007 with democracy but we were treated with something which is NOT democracy.

PS: The Kit Kat Dolls are doing the big gig with spice girls ( unconfirm ) in the big club in central London. Please click the link below for more details.

    Thanks for posting Nat.

There's been a lot of chest beating from some sections of the community about the revelations. Basically they feel let down by something they saw as initially being a positive thing for the TG community.

Everyone is entitled to a past, and to be able to move on from that past. I bet a lot of our pop stars and actors/actresses have done things to further their career that they would not like to be public.

Where I think the big mistake happened was being careless enough to get caught by the press still being active. It wasn't the past anymore, it was still very much the present.

They felt let down because they wanted to forget the fact that a lot of TG girls do work in the sex industry sometimes through choice and sometimes through circumstance. As we joked, its hardly a shock really, considering the many working girls that already frequent the WOC.

I feel really sorry for those of you who were innocent in all this. I think the response was an over-reaction and who knows, maybe you can shake this stigma off and really clean up your act.

We were sitting not far from you in AXM just before you went on stage and you all looked great. Was hard to really get a feel for your act after just two numbers, but if its any consolation you were a lot better than the boy band :)

I think many members of the community have overreacted somewhat. The KKD do need to go on a charm offensive to rebuild their rather tarnished image, and I wish you luck in doing that.
