Cat Serial Killer?
I don't know about you, but this sounds very suspicious: US cat 'predicts patient deaths'
Cat curls up with patients and hours later they are dead. And he's done this 25 times... Surely they should be investigating this cat for murder?

Yeah its one of those where we desperately want to see a pattern..
Or now patients know its the "Cat Of Death" once it jumps on their bed their hearts pack up in fear ;)

Cats will not eat live food but if it is about to die then why not hang about. Cats have been known to bite the fingers of owners that don't wake up to feed them - well actually it was about to feed!

I don't geddit. I don't think its that everyone the cat visits dies soon after, just that everyone who dies has been visited by the cat. So unless there are people the cat doesn't visit, it will always have visited the deceased.
BTW, what cat diseases are fatal to humans then?
Or, perhaps its Death trying out a new disguise "I SAID; MEEEOOOW"

A friend at work told me about this yesterday. He completely believes in that cat. He said that the cat is usually very unsocial and only visits those about to die. So either the cat is the grim reaper in disguise, or the cat senses that these people are in need of comfort in their last moments, OR seeing that all of the people in that ward are terminal anyway, pretty much anybody he chooses to visit is gonna die soon anyway! But what's the fun in that??

I think the cat eats souls, it doesn't just sit on their bed, it gets upset when they put it out the room because it can't snag the soul as it leaves.
