Conversations with odd people

I know I probably shouldn't be posting these, but I wanted to document in one place some of the bizarreness that has arisen over the Mara posts recently. Anyone who has viewed the thread on AngelFlickr will have seen some of this already.

What interests me with each of these identities is that they all write in a very similar style. They all over elaborate how they know each other and I find they use very similar phrases. As has been said previously, they seem to resort very quickly to accusations of racism or anti-romany/anti-semitism and use that as a threat against me.

As has also been pointed out - viewing some of their Flickr profiles is very amusing as each one has "testimonies" written by the other facets of the personality. Example here.

What's getting me down recently is that I am now becoming over-cynical. And I keep seeing new members with little information, and worrying its yet another head of the Hydra...

Anyhoo.. here's some of the great stuff.

Email from Mara when I first questioned whether some of her pictures had been photoshopped, and were not the same person.

These are very serious allegations to make, particulary when you have
not a shred of evidence to support your opinions.You have set yourself up as
Judge, prosecution and jury, contrary to the laws of natural justice, for one
cannot be both judge, prosecuter and jury and be impartial,Can you prove I am
not a gipsy transexual, that my lifes stories are fiction or that the pictures
that I post are not of me, if so rather than condemn, show your proof, not your
opinions, for surely it is unjust to condemn on an opinion alone.Show your
evidence that I dont exist etc, or if you cant, then you ought keep your
opinions to yourself and cease to condemn those you have never met.

Jo to be honest, I was warnd by the escort agency and the other transexuals there to have nothing to do with the flickr tg community or the Angels group, that it was
filled with jealousy and backbiting and rejection of any real beautifull
transexuals, I have found that only to be generally true since I come onto
flickr, I showed my true life on flickr, let you see unedited pphotos of my life
from the age of 15 thru to 4i, shared personal moments, great sufferings etc,
you know nothing of my people the roma, or our ways, I share these things only
to be bombarded daily with racist and abusive hatemail and my photostream filled
with abuse, banned from groups.

Now dear Jo, I am not angry or upset, we Roma are well used to being misunderstood.My name on Flickr is the same as in real life Mhaira(Mara)Macgregor, the son of Liam Macgregor, my home is in glen lochy, Scotland,I am a prostitute, have been for 20 years, and in the appropriate
groups I post nude pictures of myself and openly share my life on Flickr, this
is what you so called elte in the TG community dont like about my kind, we dont
conform to your idea of what a tranny should be, you think that we give the
community a bad image etc, and thats the real issue here is,nt it Jo. Jealousy,
bitterness and unhappynes at the knowlegde that there is transexuals like me

culture and as for photoshop, since when did they obtain degrees in computer
science.To accuse ,condemn, to harrass, to ban, without evidence is a sure proof
of an unhappy people, were bitterness,jealousy and hate prevail,Now I love all
my soulsisters and my heart goes out to those that for whatever reason cannot
express the lives they so dearly desire to, the vast majority of trans I have
encountered are precious souls, they dont need the poison of self appointed
jugdes, self styled tranny police that destroy the lives of many a beauifull

We then get the first of the posts from one of her alternative accounts, Sarah Slade.

If it were not for Mara Macgregor, my brothers and I would of had nothing,
she shouldnt of told you shes a prostitute, never the less thru her activities

the 4 wheelers to pull them, bought portions of land for us to dwell on, so we

Mara that you accuse of not been the same person, it is obvious that you are not
a real lassie Jo, for these are photos of Mara at different ages of her life,
there is one of her at 15, another at late teens, another in her 20s and so on,
different styles of hair as fashions come and go, some with heavy make up,
others with none, some with her skin tanned others with the natural pale skin
and of course theres the lighting of the day to consider, all these and many
other factors can have a dramatic effect on a photo, any pro photographers will
tell you this.Regards photoshop, Jo Angel,I looked at your photo stream, the
vast majority of your facial images have been crudely manipulated, it is easy to
spot, I am a graduate graphic designer, any body that looks at your facial
pictures, study the edges/ perimeters of jo,s , cheeks and jaw bones, you will
see a dark line which is the result of pixel compression and the misalignment of
said border pixels, a dark line or line is not a natural occurance, I could go
on pointing out other manipulatios of Jo Angel, this will sufficeI think
personally the only feminine trait you have Jo Angel is Jealousy. Sarah a
natural female xxx

According to Sarahs profile, she is 18 years old. Yet she is also according to this post a graduate graphic designer. Her profile has only been on Flickr a few months, so its not like its lapsed and she's not updated her age. According to this, Mara's face is cruelly tatooed... something which is not apparent in many early images on her photostream.

I like the fact that suddenly she's criticising the photoshopping of my images. Of course, unlike Mara I have the advantage of having been photographed with other trannies in public places... all easily verifiable.

Immediately after that, Scaldee posts. Having been "told" about this thread. Rod is very elaborate in telling us all about his meeting with Mara.... a little too elaborate as far as I am concerned.

no signsof pixel rearrangement,try to sharpen your images if you can, your cute
too.Gina, good clear images, same as above, classy looks, well
presented.Angelina, Best quality images, classic motherly tender featuresLIZ,
again no signs of pixel rearrangement, a natural poser, neat.Jo Angel, extreme
signs of pixel reorganisation, crudely done, pixel concentrations everywere on
facial images due to the use of photoshop or corel paintshop distortion tools in
a vain attempt to soften/ lessen male features, like sarah I could spend all day
going thru the massive manipulations and the explanations thereof, I will spare

Again, we have the attack on my images for being faked and some bollocks about documentation being sent on, in some attempt to intimidate me.

After this is where it starts getting interesting. I blocked Scaldee and Sarah from the group to keep just one of them posting. Firstly this post from Mara, upping the stakes:

block in you that prevents the inner you from shining and putting out love,

symtoms of a deep, deep wound in your soul that occured when you were a young

So I am the ringleader of a band of trannies? And the deep wound in my soul is a hard thing to bear.... I get no attempt from Mara to actually defend, she goes on the attack from the start.

Dear Jo, I dare say that there are many that read these things in silence,
you are doing your self no favours showering me with continual scorn and abuse,
or the banning and open attacks on digital experts and the reviling of their
reputations, all contary to the spirit of flickr and the community guide lines,
It is obvious that the hatred towards transexual prostitution and anybody that
questions your opinions is so deep and plain for all to see that there is no
further point in giving you further opportunities to be abusive to me, I am just
thankfull after all these weeks of Hatemail, abuse also on my photostream that I
have found the inspiration behind it, over 200 trans have contacted me
confirming this that you are behind most of the hate campaigns on flickr, the inspiration behind all the hurts on transexuals that dont conform and your behaviour here only confirms that veiw, my advice is give up that tranny police

So this is where the real accusations start flying. Apparently for weeks I have been orchestrating a campain against her... and over 200 trannies have got in touch to tell her such a thing. How very interesting.

There was a post pretty soon after that started, suprise suprise, by Wendy Sutherland. But I deleted it in haste rather than lock it... Basically it was more of the same.

All goes a bit quiet for a few days and then Rod/Scaldee mails me today:

Been told you have made allegations that I am a multi personality of a
transexual, is this true? If so what planet are you living on to make such
offensive comments in a public group, if you have not then I apologise, but I do
suspect Anti semitism here, do you have problems with Jewish people as well as
gipsies as you have banned two jews and two gipsies in a matter of hours from
your group if my information is correct. Shalom. Rod

Again we're back to the threats of anti-semitism. Boy has he picked the wrong person. I wrote back explaining that I am half-jewish, and quite proud of my jewish heritage. I get back:

The fact you state your half jewish proves to me you are no Jew, for amongst my
people there is no such thing, and you would of known that, also your above
offensive comments confirm that the allegations you have made against me are

I really shouldn't be carrying this on... it's against my better

I didn't say I personally am a jew. More of an atheist to be honest. But my
family are jewish, and I could never be accused of anti-semitism, but then you
don't actually know me and could be excused that.

I'm half scottish as well, not that I really want to ingratiate myself with
you....

You do seem to be very angry and intent on finding discrimination where
none is present. I'm wondering, have you finally made so many alternative flickr
accounts its all starting to unravel?I'm analysing the writing styles of these
accounts, and you're giving yourself away many times.

It's all very odd. But hey, each to their own.

I know I should let this drop, and not reply. I know I'm only keeping this going. But part of me is getting very annoyed that someone can continue to perpetrate this kind of scam. Like several have said before, if it was just a case of multiple identities it wouldnt be too bad. But with each one comes threats and accusations of racism. How dare he make light of anti-semitism and casually toss it out as a threat to me.

If anyone has managed to find some more actual evidence about these identities, I'd be very interested to hear more.

simply concerned that you can attack jewish people and pretend you are one
yourself, if you had responded positively rather than continue your bizaare

I'm dismayed by your homophobic attitude there Rod. You are obviously reacting
so badly to me because I am a transgendered person. Obviously homophobic
tendencies.
Why do you hate us so? Oh, I am sure you will come back with "oh
some of my friends are transgendered", but that's what they always say Rod.
Can't you see that? Does my opinion matter so little to you?
I'm hurt Rod. I really am. Your homophobic attitude really needs adjusting. I notice you are very quick to deny that you are a transsexual. Are you having to bottle those feelings up? Don't deny them Rod. Let the real you come through. I know many places you can get help for this. A lot of TS girls I know went through the Army first. You might even know some of them. or be one.
