Tesco Value: Potter

In the news this week it was revealed that some supermarkets were selling the new Harry Potter for less than the wholesale price. So much so that some independant booksellers will be buying them from Tesco to sell in their shops.

They are going to rather disappointed when they see the new cover.

Its supposed to be the cover.

I was at the back of a meeting, so didn't have the time to superimpose it on a fake book too :)

The big chains selling at below the wholesale price is nothing new. My brother regularly picks up items like figures from the likes of Tesco, Toys R Us etc to resell - partly because of the price but also because he never gets the qualities he orders as Tesco etc get priority.
