Bring me the head of Biddy Baxter
So the world of childrens television has been rocked by the scandal that Blue Peter has faked yet another competition. This is being treated by the media as one of the biggest scandals since they shockingly covered up the death of Petra the dog.
Am I the only one worried that the next phone-in vote will be for ways to dispose of the old now-shamed Blue Peter cat? To vote for a cement sack and house bricks, add 01 to the number. To vote for a shovel to the back of the head add 02. For a mysterious accident with a truck add 03..... etc.
Wouldnt put it past them. They have form.
Look at how short a lifespan the Blue Peter tortoises have....

Actually, I think the "Socks" scandal has been the worst of the bunch. You can kinda see why all the other fakery happened... people wanted to save time and money, or just make life easier for themselves.
But with Socks all that was involved was a bunch of people showing a complete lack of respect for a bunch of kids, for no good reason whatsoever.

apparently, from what I can gather, there was a bit of an internet campaign to vote for Cookie because it was slang for a womans bits..... so the producers decided not to run with it, and choose an alternative.
