Body Swap Video

This is really well done. No idea where it is from originally. I'd guess an advert for something? Comments seem to suggest a New Yorker commercial.

Really wish I could do this ;) then change back again after a night out...

Ah, but if you could do that, would the person that emerged at the end really be you? (It's like that old philosophical poser: if you give an axe a new head, and later a new handle, is it still the same axe?) Still, deep philosophical implications aside, it was an interesting little clip. I liked the original guy's look too - sort of Clockwork Orange-inspired, it seemed.

I'd like to think there's an essence still in the male head thats on a wireless link and still controlling the body...

or maybe a chip like in Rogue Trooper that downloads the essence of you into the Torso just before the head is swapped.... then maybe transfers it back to the new head

I do think more research is needed.... who's with me?

if the essence of the person is the brain, the surely this is what needs to be transplanted. So Jo are you volenteering to be the first guinea-pig... err sorry lucky recipient of a body transplant? (holds up large scalpel and tries to look as menacing as 5 foot 6 allows). :o)

I seem to remember one of the lexx episodes had a storyline similar to this.

Actually, this reminds me of a hilariously bad horror movie called "Frankenhooker", which IIRC involved some young, aspiring mad scientist trying to build the perfect hooker out of bits of other hookers (which he obtained by giving said hookers lethal "supercrack", which made them explode when they smoked it). Anyway, he ended up building his "perfect hooker" (the titular Frankenhooker), only to be beheaded by the vengeful pimp of the prostitutes he'd murdered. The movie ended with him being brought back to life by his creation (who used the same technology he'd used to make her) - the only "problem" was he now found his head attached to a woman's body. Zany stuff!
