I aint dead
Honest. I've just been throwing my energies in different directions and forgetting to write anything here.
Last night i went out for my first tranny night for what I think has been just over a year. I went up to London to see Laura Handbag and Fiona. We had a few drinks in bar in Soho, then off to a nice italian restaurant. Drank far too much wine (as usual) so feeling a little delicate today!
Was great to see both Laura and Fiona again, it's been far too long and I hope we don't leave it so long until the next time. Thanks to Laura for the bacon sarnie this morning as well.
No photos of the event :) The only photo we took all night was when two girls on the table next to us asked Laura to take their photo. Which got me thinking on a philosophical point - if a tranny goes out but no photos are taken, did the event actually happen?

Perhaps I should check with Laura to confirm youre not hallucinating Jo. :o)
Interesting question though, does a lack of photos make this a meeting of friends but not a tranny one? Hmmmm.

I tranny therefore I am.
I suspect there's hours of cctv footage excisting as evidence, to show it wasn't all a dream.

My guess is if you took piccies it would just feel forced. I mean who'd you be taking them for? I suspect that it'd be for people looking at your website, whereas you're no longer bovver'd. Me, I put it down to being all part of the trans journey, wherever that takes us. Just enjoy it, that's wot I say, guv.

Reminds me of that Viz Top Tip about getting married at a petrol station. :)
Maybe all tranny venues should be in heavily CCTV'd areas. Then we could all watch each other arrive and leave.... or maybe just not bother and get on with having a laugh. :)
I hope your head is feeling a bit better!

Nothing wrong with not having photographic evidence Jo - nothing at all.
Landmarks (both physical and metaphorical) are fair subjects but if you didn't have time to take piccies it'd just say to me you were having too much fun making up for lost time :)

thanks girls
yeah no idea how they singled out the photographer for the photo.
I did take my camera but unfortunately got far too drunk to use it :)
