Had a great time at the latest Angelic party... we made it a "Debs Ball" to encourage new girls to hit the scene. The response was wonderful. See some pics here.

Just got back from this. Top night on a cruise along the Thames in the company of 150 trannies. Great fun. Some photos up in the gallery now.

Coming out, part 2
Latest news: After wrestling over how (and whether) to do it - I have finally come out to my sister! I hated the fact that I had to lie to her about whenever I was going to an event, and that I couldn't tell her about my "other half". I always knew she would be OK about it (like me she's a huge Eddie Izzard fan... and loves Richard O'Brien), but still I worried about telling her. I've kept it hidden for so long its hard to let it out...... I finally bit the bullet and told her the other week.... and she was really cool about the whole thing, which is great. I showed her some of my Joanna photos and she was gobsmacked (you need to see me in boy mode to get the scale of the transformation!!!) In fact, she moaned at me the yesterday that she'd been to my website and was annoyed that she didn't get a mention on here. So..... thanks honey, you are such a great sister and it really means a lot to me that you can accept all this. Of course, I botched the whole "telling her" thing, and forgot to tell her my femme name, so she's had a devil of a job tracking down this website.... so I apologise for all the dodgy stuff you've waded through on the way here! Hope that sometime we can get you out to Transmission for a bit of a party.....

Brighton Rocks - Trannies Get Hed! (9 May 2004)
Just got back from Brighton and all I can say is WOW
Just had a fantastic weekend down in Brighton with the Angels/Roses Hedwig weekend.
Got down friday - Had an interesting evening with Kim, Tina and Tracey from
T&T epilation and Sue/Leah True and ended up dancing the night away in a
Lesbian club called the Wet Pussy..... (just don't ask...)
Saturday morning started with a nice stroll along Brighton Pier, where Kim
showed her disco diva status is no accident by impressing us all on the
Dancing arcade machine. (?) The afternoon was spent on a serious shopping
spree in the Lanes and boy, can Kim and Leah shop when they want to!!!
Back to the hotel for a short recovery and getting changed into my gladrags
for the main event - Hedwig! Stopping briefly in the hotel bar to win a
fiver off Kim in a bet over whether it was Russell Grant at the bar (it
was - lol) a tranny slick to rival that of Manchester last year then set off
on the 20 minute walk to the theatre (well, church hall) where Hedwig was
showing.
We certainly got a few stares and car horns on the walk across!! Although
there was no Michaela to draw the attention, Bella Jay was looking fantastic
in her pink furry boots, raising her to over 6ft 6 with dreadlocks!!!
Hedwig was fantastic. I've seen the movie, and got the CD, but seeing the
live show is so much better than the film.. The whole cast were brilliant...
Another tranny slick ensued on the return leg to the hotel, but this time we
tended to go back in dribs and drabs.
One quick change later and we were off to Revenge..... Dance music isn't
really my thing (I was still lliving on the memory of the awesome cover of
Radiohead "Creep" at the end of Hedwig) but I had an absolute blast in
Revenge, and I don't think I've danced that much for years!!!
I think we left the club around 3ish... followed by a brief diversion to
what seemed to be the only chip shop on the whole of the south coast judging
by the queue!!! Sue and I had a nice chat to several people in the queue,
all of who seemed totally unfazed by a tranny in their midsts....
All in all it was a fantastic weekend.... I had an absolute blast, and all
those who I spoke felt the same.
